The AMSupplyCheck verified supplier badge

What you get

• Free, with nothing attached. There is no fee, no account and no contract. Using the badge does not make you a partner, and not using it costs you nothing.
• Your listing does not change. Position, filters and profile content are decided by the capability data we verify. Adding the badge does not move you up, and removing it does not move you down.
• Yours to remove at any time. The badge is one file on our server and one link on yours. Delete the snippet whenever you like and nothing else happens.

The badge comes in two versions, both 200 by 60 pixels:

• Dark background. For dark headers, footers and near-black pages.
• Light background. For white and light grey pages.

What verified means here

Verified on AMSupplyCheck means a person has checked the company against its own website and public records: that the business exists and is trading, that the processes, materials and certifications shown on the profile are the ones the company itself states, and that the stated location is real.

It is not an audit, an accreditation or a quality mark. We do not inspect facilities, test parts or assess a quality management system. ISO and AS certifications shown on a profile are the ones the supplier publishes, and the certifying body issues them, not us.

That is deliberately a narrow claim, and the badge should be read as exactly that narrow claim: this directory entry is real and it has been checked.

How to add it

1. Find your company. Search for it by name. Selecting it fills the snippet with the address of your own profile.
2. Pick light or dark. Choose whichever version sits better on the background where the badge will go. Both are the same size.
3. Paste the snippet into your site. A footer, an about page or a partners section all work. The image is served from our server, so there is nothing to download or host.

Terms of use

• Use the badge only for the company that holds the profile it links to, and only while that profile is verified.
• Point the badge at your own AMSupplyCheck profile, not at any other page.
• Do not restyle the badge: no recolouring, stretching, cropping, or replacing the wordmark.
• Do not present the badge as a certification, an audit result, or an endorsement of quality.
• If a listing stops being verified, remove the badge. We may ask you to remove it, and we can stop serving the image.

Questions

Does the badge cost anything?

No. It is free for every verified supplier and it stays free. Partners pay for lead generation, which is a separate product with no connection to the badge.

Do I have to add it?

No. It is entirely voluntary. Suppliers who never add it are listed and ordered in exactly the same way as suppliers who do.

Will it change where I appear on AMSupplyCheck?

No. Ordering is driven by verified capability data and partner status. The badge is neither, and we do not track who has installed it.

Can I host the image on my own server?

We would rather you did not. Serving it from our origin means your badge picks up any future change to the artwork, and it lets us withdraw the image if a listing stops being verified.

What if my company is not in the list?

Then the profile is either not verified yet or not in the directory at all. Send us the company website through the contact form on this site and we will review it.

Small print

The badge artwork and the AMSupplyCheck name remain ours. Permission to display the badge is granted for as long as the linked profile is verified, and it can be withdrawn.
